Welcome to the Vysocina Regional Gallery in Jihlava. The mission of our institution is to provide you with art and at the same time preserve and protect it for future generations. Therefore, pay attention to the following lines:

Welcome to the Vysočina Regional Gallery in Jihlava. The mission of our institution is to provide you with art and at the same time preserve and protect it for future generations. Therefore, pay attention to the following lines:

1. The Visitor Regulations regulate the conditions of operation and are valid in the exhibition and publicly accessible premises of the Vysočina Regional Gallery (hereinafter referred to as the OGV). By entering the exhibition space, the visitor agrees with these visiting rules.

2. The OGV visitor is obliged to follow the visiting rules and follow the instructions of OGV staff. For security reasons, the number of visitors at one time in individual expositions and exhibitions may be limited.

3. Exhibition spaces are usually open to the public during opening hours, listed on the OGV website (www.ogv.cz), in the OGV building, or in the press and other media.

4. The entrance fee is paid in cash in CZK, non-cash payment is not possible yet. The visitor is allowed to enter the OGV exhibition space upon presentation of a valid ticket. The visitor will find out the right to a discount on admission or free admission at the box office or on the OGV website (www.ogv.cz).

5. Ticket sales start at the same time as the opening of the exhibition space, usually ending 30 minutes before the end of the visiting period. The Alternativa Gallery and IGLOO can be visited no later than 15 minutes before the end of the visiting period. Visitors must leave the gallery until the gallery closes.

6. Before entering the exhibition space, the visitor is obliged to store in the locker room all objects larger than 30 × 40 cm or longer than 40 cm, with the exception of compensatory aids. The visitor can enter the halls with a handbag, with a shoulder bag. Clothing carried over the hand must be stored in the locker room. Gallery staff are not responsible for valuables stored in luggage or clothes, the visitor can take them with him.

7. The visitor acknowledges that his movement can be recorded by a camera system installed to protect the exhibition spaces and exhibits.

8. It is forbidden to touch the exhibits, frames, pedestals and showcases and approach them at a distance of less than 30 cm. Visitors can only touch exhibits that are appropriately marked in this sense.

9. It is forbidden to enter the exhibition premises with weapons and animals, with the exception of the guide dog for the blind.

10. Smoking and manipulation with open fire is prohibited in the whole OGV building.

11. Visitors do not disturb others by their behavior. It is forbidden to eat or drink in the exhibition premises.

12. Concerts, lectures and other cultural events take place in OGV on the basis of an agreement and the co-organizer respects the operational and safety conditions of OGV.

13. The legal guardian is responsible for the children throughout the visit of the OGV.

14. Educators who take part in exhibitions and other accompanying programs with their pupils are not relieved of responsibility for the pupils entrusted to them. Active cooperation of pedagogical accompaniment with OGV staff and increased supervision of pupils is therefore a necessity.

15. Photographing of exhibited works in the exhibition premises is permitted exclusively for personal use, without the use of a flash, tripod or selfie stick, unless otherwise specified in the selected premises.

16. Persons in a drunken state, in heavily soiled clothing and those who by their behavior may damage the exhibited works or endanger the safety of other visitors, do not have access to the exhibition premises, or may be expelled from them. If the visitor is reluctant to obey the instructions of OGV staff, the assistance of the Czech police will be requested
(§ 13, Act No. 283/91 Coll.).

17. If the visitor causes damage to the OGV by violating these visiting rules or by any other inappropriate activity, a report will be drawn up with him. If the visitor is unwilling to prove his / her identity, the assistance of the Czech police will be requested (Section 13, Act No. 283/91 Coll.). The scope, amount and method of compensation will be determined in accordance with the relevant OGV regulations and enforced by the visitor through legal means.

18. The visitor acknowledges that during events held under her auspices, he may be captured on audiovisual documentation (photographs, video, audio). He can express his disagreement to the gallery employee who is taking the material, or to find out more information by e-mail ogv@ogv.cz.

19. Wishes, compliments, comments, requests or complaints may be made by OGV visitors in writing in the guest book, via the form on the OGV website (www.ogv.cz), in person or by telephone at OGV, Komenského 10, Jihlava, tel .: 567 301 680.

20. The visitor is obliged to comply with all current legal regulations governing health security during the Covid-19 pandemic and to follow the instructions of the gallery staff in this regard.
