The Vysočina Regional Gallery in Jihlava strives to be a living multifunctional institution, an active part of current cultural events, a background for its support, development and reflection. A pleasant place where a wide range of visitors from the smallest to those born earlier will find an enriching cultural experience, relaxation and inspiration. An opportunity to meet, communicate, have an unusual experience, reflect, learn and develop your own creativity. A place where everyone will be happy to return, knowing that they will always find something worthwhile.

With its exhibition, collection, research and publication activities, the gallery focuses primarily on art from the nineteenth century to the present day. It now manages more than 6,500 works of art in its collections.

The gallery also organizes a number of accompanying events: guided tours, lectures, art workshops, discussions with artists, musical and theatrical performances or readings by authors.

The gallery also offers the possibility of consultation in the field of visual arts, study in an extensive specialized library, and for researchers also the possibility of studying collection items.

The gallery does not provide visitors with its own parking lot. It is possible to use paid parking lots in the center of Jihlava (more info HERE). The gallery building is not barrier-free. There is a freight elevator in the building, which is accessed by several steps.
