The exhibition commemorating the visit of the famous French sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) to Bohemia at the beginning of the last century is called "Prague Pallas and Moravian Hellas 1902: Auguste Rodin in Prague and Moravia".
Associations, the foundation of life, a tour of K. H. Borovský's apartment and "It's not a cemetery, it's my garden" Kytice by K. J. Erben were the exhibitions we visited as part of the meeting of the educators of the Vysočina region.
We have agreed with our fellow educators from the cultural organizations of the Vysočina region that, in addition to regular meetings in home museums and galleries, we will also try to organize field trips to other institutions where they organize interesting events or educational programs.
At the beginning of September, we welcomed educators from all over the country in our gallery. A two-day (6th to 7th September) meeting of Chamber of Educators by Council of Galleries of Czech Republic took place here.
The weather was not very kind to the third round of the day camp called On your own skin. Still, we certainly couldn't complain. The rain didn't get us wet even once, and the traditional trip took place with swimming (for the brave).
The current exhibition in the Polička City Museum and Gallery called "Adventurous Wanderings in the World of Pavel Čech" attracts to its halls not only admirers of the books of this artist from Brno, but above all all playful lovers of adventure, dreaming and endless fantasy.
