Its title reflects the need to draw attention to the state of education and the education system, which is not entirely indifferent to everyone. Thinking about why it is necessary to respond to changes in society through creative thinking. Our gallery is also trying to push the boundaries of classical education as part of its educational activities, so we were honored to take part in this year's festival. Last year, the festival took place online, as the situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic did not allow meeting each other in person. This year, part of it takes place again virtually, but many programs are also being organized physically, directly in the participating institutions. In addition to the Vysočina Regional Gallery in Jihlava, the National Gallery, GASK or the Broumov Monastery have joined last year's participants (such as) SE.S.TA, Post Bellum, Ostružina, Eduzměna, Sladovna Písek.
Our gallery has prepared two educational programs as a part of the festival. One for seniors and another for children aged 6-10. The theme was the same for both groups: When they were children. We are offering the educational, ninety-minute program of the same name, which was created with the financial support of the City of Jihlava, for the first time this school year. As its potential is much more extensive and wider, we decided to organize a creative workshop within FUK for both seniors (February 3) and children (February 18) in longer time grants.
The festival runs from 2 to 22 February 2022. Check it out!
