A guided tour of the exhibition was part of the second conference day. Three guides took us through the exhibits: Exhibition curator Sandra Baborovská, exhibiting artist Jakub Jansa (with his dog) and educator Markéta Slachová Goldová. Which was an absolute luxury! Thanks to the individual approach of each of them, we had a very diverse interpretation. As well as the program of the entire conference.

When I read the entire program of the conference, I was a little surprised, maybe even taken aback, by its scope. Both days started at 10 a.m. and were scheduled to end at 7 p.m. on Monday and 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Such a busy schedule tends to make it difficult to take it all in. However, in the case of this conference, time flew by. The individual contributions were attractively presented, lively and, above all, extremely interesting. For example, a contribution from the Labodoble platform entitled Photochemical film as a tool for eco:logical knowledge or Working with film material as part of the educational activities of the Ponrepo cinema, or the nowadays very relevant topic Mobile phone and its use in film and audiovisual education presented by Aeroschool. In the second block, I learned about unknown platforms (CinEd, Filmouka, Animetod) that support audiovisual education and offer it for use to schools or cultural institutions. After the afternoon break, the evening continued with a screening of the silent film Faust (F.W. Murnau, 1926) and a concert by the Nauzea Orchestra. All this in the wonderful premises of the Stone Bell House, which are a great experience in themselves.

We started the second day of the conference with the already mentioned guided tour of the exhibition Thinking Through Film. It was followed by a literal whirlwind of workshops, for which it was possible to sign up on the very first day during the introductory presentation. Capacity was limited, so each participant could only enroll in a certain number of programs. I chose the workshop Animated stories of the Opak association, where we could try different methods of animation at individual stations. And the cinestories of Memory of the Nation with a screening of the film Flight096, or the post-August emigration from Czechoslovakia. It was possible to discuss with individual lecturers and ask for additional information regarding their work and projects.

I left Prague excited, full of impressions, and plans are forming in my head on how to use the audiovisual potential within our gallery. In addition, I met colleagues from other galleries and institutions, which is always very nice.
