The work of the Zlín painter, graphic artist and trained carver Bohumír Jaroněk (April 23, 1866, Zlín - January 18, 1933, Zlín) reflects his lifelong interest in ethnography and folk architecture. In addition to a number of oils and watercolors, he made a significant contribution to the history of Czech art, especially with his famous woodcuts with characteristic colors, created by the registration of up to eleven plates. Gradually, a cycle of 35 graphic sheets "Valašsko" was created, which includes a woodcut "Autumn" from the property of OGV with Jaroněk's favorite motif Štramberská Trúba.
